Silenced presents BJEOR

Do you know many 18 year olds with Four years of valid DJ experience?
I'm guessing the answer is no. Toon Roebben aka BJEOR is one of those exceptional characters that got into underground house music at an age most of us still think Justin Bieber has it all. In the meantime he established himself a solid reputation amongst local house-loving crews like Club106, Village of sounds and of course Silenced.

In recognition of his talent, we are glad to announce BJEOR takes on the Silenced DJ residency.
For this joyous occasion, we invite you to a small gathering at the Old Market. Let's get together, hear the man at work and make a toast: ...to HOUSE MUSIC!

French bears need more females

...and so do we!

The new Silenced facebook fanpage has tought us a sad fact about this community. The stats show a vast majority of male fans. Only 30% of our fans are females! Of course we consider this as a serious issue, that we must address with extraordinary measures.

Recent scientific studies point out the dangers of a lack of females amongst bears:

Too many male bears can be a real problem. When there aren’t enough females to go around, males resort to killing cubs, so that the cub’s mother becomes reproductively available again. That might be a good reproductive strategy for the individual bear, but it’s a bad one for the population as a whole.

This is all very bad news. We must gain more female fans. Let's start by handing out some free female silenced t-shirts! Girls, tag yourself. Boys, tag your girlfriend in this picture.

An innocent mouse will pick 5 winning girls. They'll receive a limited edition "female marcelleke" with a value of fifteen euros.
