Leuven-locals Stoika contribute to our Silenced net-catalogue with four rather short takes of pure love bubbles, indulging us with reminiscence of the Berlin electro wave from a couple of years ago with breakthrough music from the bPitch-label. But it's clearly not yesterday's dish served today as guttering basslines, lush synths and dub-influenced textures work their way through the tracks, keeping things crispy and fresh. Stoika is a keeper, and we're glad to have them around.

Voor dit zomers Silenced feest palmen we de Abdij van Vlierbeek in. Voor de rest blijft het Silenced recept ongewijzigd: een vette soundsystem, strakke visuals en rollende beats!
Naast enkele resident zijn er ook nog twee guest dj's die we hebben uitgendigd, meer hierover binnenkort...

hoe er te geraken

met de auto:
Als je via de Diestsesteenweg komt (richting Diest) dien je enkel rechts af te slagen aan de Molenstraat (naast de Delhaize) en de straat helemaal te volgen tot het einde, daar bevindt zich de parking.
Als je via de autosnelweg komt is het het gemakkelijkst als je Leuven binnenrijdt via afrit 20 van de E40. Daarna Eénmeilaan -> Gemeentestraat -> Holsebeeksesteenweg -> Thomas Wilsonlaan -> Vlierbeeklaan -> Molenstraat.
met de trein/bus:
Leuven station ligt op 20 minuten wandelen van de abdij van Vlierbeek. Je kan ook de bus 2 "Kessel-Lo Hulsberg" nemen, zeg dan best even tegen de chauffeur dat je eraf moet aan de halte "Gemeenteplein". Van daar is het 5 minuten stappen naar de abdij.
