Hey Dan Droff. The records you'd like to start using digitally, should get to me. they'll be recorded, track by track (you can make a list if you don't need the whole record) and save them as an AIFF-file. After that, they can be transfered to MP3's, in a 320 Kbps stereo quality, or different in case you'd have specific requests. If you want records to be recorded in a specified BPM, that is also no problem. (For example if you want to have all the files in 130 Bpm directly.) Important to know is that we do not correct any hickups in the original track, unless the needle really skips. In that case, the digital track will be corrected. Other noises such as dust or the usual crackles are kept intact. Files are saved with their respective names, titles, etc ... At the end, you'll receive an official invoice which can be paid by bank transfer, cash, ... The base price is 2,50 euros / track, VAT included ("shipment" of records NOT included). The aim is not being cheaper than online recordshops, but to archive your personal favourite tracks that are possibly hard-to-find online, and allow for you to play them endlessly without risking to damage the original vinyl record :-)
